Tarajee Nasha Rucker joins CFI as VP of Human Resources

MILWAUKEE (Sept. 28, 2022) – Tarajee Nasha Rucker has joined the Centers for Independence as the vice president of Human Resources.

Rucker joins CFI with broad experience in the corporate and manufacturing world.

Prior to joining CFI, she headed her own coaching and consulting firm, Rucker Consulting Agency in Waukesha, and served as global human resources and talent manager director for Pregis LLC, Deerfield, Ill. She also worked in the HR field for Johnson Controls and Rexnord.

“Tarajee brings a breadth of human resource knowledge to CFI,” said Teri Zywicki, CFI President and CEO. “She’s well versed in recruiting and retaining talent, and also is adept at coaching, building teams and union relations. We are excited to welcome her.”

Rucker said she was impressed with CFI’s culture of serving the community, diversity and inclusion initiatives and is passionate about “CFI’s servant-leadership style.”

Rucker is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, with a bachelor’s in business administration-human resources, and earned an executive MBA at the Strayer University-Jack Welch Management Institute.

She and her husband have one college-bound son, and they enjoy traveling and movies, and consider themselves foodies. They live in Waukesha.
